It’s always exciting when our artistic team reveals the next show theme! Selecting a theme that’s both educational and engaging can be a challenge for our Artistic and Music Directors. Months of meetings,curricular research, and logistical planning goes into finding the right subject matter for our year-long curriculum; and then that special day arrives when ArtSparks’ teaching teams get to disclose the theme to their students. It’s a magical moment: one in which students and Teaching Artists commit to working together, giving it their all, and focusing their efforts to produce a performance. This year’s reveal was met with tremendous excitement! Read on to learn why and see how you might help our students THRIVE this school year!

ArtSparks is excited to embark on this years’ production THRIVE: The Story of the Last Dinosaur. Our theme dives into the age of the dinosaurs, exploring different species and the life-affirming qualities that allow all of us to be our best selves. What does it take for a species to thrive again after hardship? Join us to find out!
